MPI Recovery Package

1 December 2016

The Ministry of Primary Industries has announced an assistance package to help earthquake-affected farmers in the land remediation and repair process.

The $4 million Earthquake Relief Fund is to help farmers repair uninsurable infrastructure damaged as a result of the November 14 earthquake.

These may include pastures, on-farm access, tracks and races, bridges without sides and dams and reservoirs.
