B+LNZ Wormwise Workshop
Thursday, 27 April 2017
10am–2pm: Manawahe Eco Centre, 1913 Manawahe Road, Manawahe (Old Manawahe school buildings)
Wormwise is the national worm management strategy. It aims to help farmers and their advisors manage internal parasites in sheep and beef.
If steps aren’t taken to prevent drench resistance, resistant worms will eventually outweigh susceptible worms on your farm. Whether you run sheep or cattle, turning back the clock is very expensive, if not impossible.
This workshop will look at all the principles involved in being “Wormwise” – outsmarting the worms with practical tools you can use to delay the onset of drench resistance and keep your production at sustainable levels.
