The Kellogg Rural Leaders Programme is a widely recognised and respected programme that develops leaders within the primary sector.
It's for people who are starting out in leadership – as well as those who want to extend their leadership roles.
Participants come from all areas of the rural sector – from rural bankers to farmers and vets to rural extension officers.
You'll gain personal leadership skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of the New Zealand primary sector. And you'll enjoy connecting with a diverse group of people from right across the primary industries.
The programme is based out of Lincoln University. There is some residential learning at Lincoln and a shorter residential in Wellington. However, most of the time you'll be working on a personal research project.
There are two intakes (January and mid-year) of 20 students. You'll need to cover some of the costs yourself – probably about $4,000 to $5,000.
